How to configure pfSense as a bridge
Here is the second article dedicated to the configuration of pfSense. This tutorial will allow you to configure your pfSense box as a bridge.
This config is very usefull if you are hosting server within an ISP facility, for example if your provider / hoster is providing you a bloc of IP you do not wish to do NAT, but configure directly your firewall as a bridge so that you can filter packets and at the same time use your public IPs which have been alocated to you.
Please not that you can find this tutorial on the pfSense website.
It has been written by M. Fuchs, a French translated version is available here.
